Applying for a home

We ask that you complete an application form to apply for a home with us. This can be completed online or pick up a form from our main office.

There are a few requirements that need to be met in order for you to join our waiting list:

  • You must demonstrate that you are able to pay your rent via your own income or housing benefit
  • Provide proof that you have managed other aspects of a tenancy such as paying bills on time.

Our waiting list is points based, with each individual application being allocated a certain amount of points dependent on the applicants individual circumstances.

We have two types of property available:

  • General needs properties that are typically, bedsits, flats or houses. These are for single people under the age of 55 and families.
  • Sheltered housing that are typically bedsits, flats or bungalows and are only for residents aged over 55, and they all benefit from some form of additional housing related support.

Once you have successfully completed your application form we will add you to the housing register we will contact you within 14 days with further details including your position on the waiting list.
