The Audit Commission is currently recruiting Tenant Inspection Advisers (TIAs) to help their staff carry out inspection and assessment work. Working flexibly and on an ad hoc basis - possibly away from home for up to four days at a time - TIAs don’t normally carry out more than three inspections in a year.

Don’t be left without TV! The North West area “switchover’’ to convert your TV signal to digital will take place on 4 November 2009. Any TV set that’s not converted to digital when the switchover takes place will no longer receive TV programmes, so it is important to consider your options now.

Digital TV switchover in the Granada TV region is now complete. The old analogue TV system has been turned off in Liverpool, Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire and north Staffordshire. Viewers in more than three million homes in the region are now watching some form of digital television.
